The Alianza Ibero Americana is an Association of Organizations formed on the bases of identified areas of affinity in interests and cultural background.

The Alliance will act as an agent to provide information about the Spanish and Portuguese speakers living in the UK.

The Alliance will aim to achieve as much co-ordination as possible to the diverse communities of Lusophone and Latino/Hispanic background.

The Alliance will promote the need for positive action and provide a focal point for campaigning groups to facilitate and support local initiatives.

The Alliance is anti-discriminatory and promotes good relations between people.

The Alliance relation with its members and affiliates will be one of respect of their independence and autonomy of each organization or individual and of cordial recognition and helpfulness.

The Alliance welcomes the support and collaboration of any organization or individual sharing the principles and objects of the Association.

The Alliance's expectation is that all of its members, associates and supporters achieve a good balance of autonomy and responsibility whilst furthering the aims of the Association.
